Everblue is a branding agency that handles brand development and identity design for businesses in Ireland, the UK and the US. A logo is only one part of that, so we also settle the imagery and the tone your business writes in. Then we document it all so your team and your printers can use it without guessing.

Bishopswood Construction had traded since 1997 without a logo. We gave the Dublin groundworks firm its first brand identity, along with a website and social media pages that use it.

Can you build a brand around the logo we already have?

Yes, if it's a strong starting point. We'll check how it holds up at small sizes and in one colour, then build the colours, type and guidelines around it.

Is it right for you

Who this is for, and when we'd suggest something else

A good fit if

  • You've never had a proper identity, or you're still using a logo someone put together in an afternoon.
  • Your logo, colours and messaging look different on your website, your social pages and your printed material.
  • You're launching a new business and want the brand, website and social pages ready at the same time.

When we'd point you elsewhere

  • If you only need a logo file for a one-off job, a freelance designer will be quicker and cheaper.
  • If people already recognise your brand and it's working, we'd rather refresh the website or marketing around it than change it for the sake of change.
What's included

What's included in our branding services

Logo design

We design a logo that works on a business card, a sign and a phone screen, with versions for small sizes and single colours.

Visual identity

Colours, typefaces, imagery and graphic elements are chosen as one brand design, so everything the business produces looks like it belongs together.

Brand strategy and messaging

We agree your positioning, key messages and tone of voice first, so the look has something solid underneath it.

Brand guidelines

A guidelines document gives your team, printers and other suppliers the rules and examples they need to apply the brand consistently.

Collateral

We design business cards, stationery, presentation templates and social media graphics, ready to use from launch day.

Brand refresh

If your brand needs updating rather than replacing, we modernise it while keeping the parts customers already recognise.

Process

What happens, step by step

01

Discovery

We learn about the business, your customers and your competitors, and where you want the brand to sit in your market.

02

Strategy

We agree the positioning, messages and tone of voice before any design starts.

03

Identity design

We present logo concepts with the colour and type system around them, then refine the direction you choose.

04

Guidelines

Everything is documented in brand guidelines, with colour codes for print and screen and examples of the brand in use.

05

Assets and launch

We design the stationery, templates and social graphics, hand over the source files, and help brief your printers and other suppliers.

“James recently created our new website and he did a fantastic job. He was always on the other end of the phone if I had any questions or suggestions. He is so professional and really cares about the work he is doing. James also brought some super ideas of how to make the site look amazing and stand out. It was a pleasure to work with James and Everblue Digital and I ill recommend them to everyone. Mark (Stratmore Entertainment)”

FAQ

Branding questions

If your question isn't answered here, email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

What's the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is a single mark. A brand identity is the full system around it, including logo variations, colours, typography, imagery and tone of voice, plus the guidelines that explain how to use them.

Do you handle rebrands as well as new brands?

Yes. We designed the first identity for Queen Spa before it opened, and we have rebranded established businesses, including Stratmore Entertainment and Function First Rehab, which we renamed as well as redesigned. If a full rebrand is more than you need, a brand refresh keeps the parts customers already recognise.

How long does a rebrand take?

You'll get a timeline once the scope is agreed, because refreshing an existing logo and building a full identity with guidelines are different jobs. After that, the pace mostly comes down to how quickly decisions get made on your side.

How many logo concepts will we see?

A few rather than dozens, each tied back to the strategy, because fewer, better concepts make the decision easier.

Will we own the brand files?

Yes. Once the project is paid for, the logo files, guidelines and templates are yours to use however you like.

Can you build the website around the new brand?

Yes. We design and build websites too, so the new identity can go directly onto your site, as it did for Stratmore Entertainment and Irish Steel.
