Branding and web design for an Irish entertainment agency that grew its enquiries without paying for ads

After a rebrand and a new website, enquiries went from two or three a week to 20 or 30, roughly tenfold, without any paid advertising.

Where it started

When Stratmore came to us, the phone number in their website footer had been wrong for six months, because nobody on the team knew how to change it. As reasons a website isn't generating leads go, that one is hard to beat. The branding was just as dated. Its music note, set in a faded, gothic-style font, said nothing about the acts Stratmore provide for weddings, corporate events and private parties. The site was bringing in only a handful of enquiries a week, which wasn't enough for the growth they wanted.

What we did and why

A piano-key logo instead of the old music note

We replaced the old logo and visual identity entirely with new logo and brand design, so Stratmore's look reflects the quality of the entertainment they provide. The new logo is an 'S' drawn in the shape of piano keys, which nods to music without being as literal as a note. We paired it with a clean light blue and black colour scheme in place of the faded look of the original.

A website the team can change themselves

We rebuilt the site from scratch so the team can update service pages, add new content and manage their artist directory without any technical knowledge. Changes go live as soon as they're saved, so a mistake like that phone number is now something the team can put right on their own.

The artist directory lets people planning an event browse and filter the available acts. Because it's simple to update, the roster stays current as artists join or leave.

Service pages built around what people search for

We researched competitors to find out what Stratmore's customers were searching for. Then we wrote the service pages around those searches, from wedding bands and DJs to corporate entertainment and private party acts. Because each page matches something people in Ireland are already looking for, it can rank for that search and turn the visitor into an enquiry.

What changed

Stratmore's enquiries now run at a steady 20 to 30 a week, up from two or three, from people planning weddings, corporate events and private parties. That roughly tenfold increase came from organic search and a better website alone, with no paid advertising at any point.

What this means for your business

If nobody on your team can change something as basic as a phone number, your website is working against you rather than for you. When people are booking entertainment for a wedding or an event, the look of your brand is part of what they're judging. Service pages written around what people search for can bring in a steady flow of enquiries without an advertising budget.

“James recently created our new website and he did a fantastic job. He was always on the other end of the phone if I had any questions or suggestions. He is so professional and really cares about the work he is doing. James also brought some super ideas of how to make the site look amazing and stand out. It was a pleasure to work with James and Everblue Digital and I ill recommend them to everyone. Mark (Stratmore Entertainment)”
