Web design and SEO for a Cavan modular construction firm, planned around the way its clients search
A rebuilt website and SEO for this modular construction firm brought in roughly four to five times the enquiries.
Where it started
When Arch-i came to us, every change to their website meant waiting on a developer, so the site had fallen behind the business. Pages loaded slowly for people researching what is usually a major construction project. The site also didn't rank for the modular construction searches that bring in enquiries. Demand for modular building was high, with Ireland working through a housing shortage, but people looking for a modular construction partner were finding competitors first.
What we did and why
Research before any design
Good construction website design starts with the market, so before we designed a page, we researched the Irish modular construction market online. We mapped who Arch-i were really competing with, where those competitors were strong and weak, and which searches nobody was serving well. That research turned up valuable searches, made by people ready to enquire, that competitors weren't targeting properly. Those searches shaped everything that followed.
A page for each type of client
We planned the content around Arch-i's services and the direction they want the business to grow, rather than one general page trying to speak to everyone. Each service page targets its own group of searches, from residential modular builds to commercial developments and multi-storey construction, so each type of client lands on a page written for them. Every page was written and structured for search from the start, so the site could compete from launch.
A faster site the team can change themselves
Waiting on a developer was why the old site had fallen behind, so our web design team rebuilt it from scratch to be easy to manage and quick to load on phones and desktops. Arch-i now add projects and update pages themselves. We also cut a 90-second brand video from footage of finished projects and the build process, and it now plays on the site, on social media and in their advertising. We redrew their logo too, so it stays sharp at every screen size.
What changed
Within weeks of the new site going live, Arch-i saw more enquiries come in through both the contact form and the phone. Enquiries have since grown to roughly four to five times what they were before the rebuild.
What this means for your business
Before a redesign, find out which searches your competitors serve badly, because those gaps are where a new site can compete from the day it launches. If you sell to different kinds of client, give each one a page written for what they're looking for rather than one page for everyone. A website your own team can update keeps pace with the business instead of falling behind every time a change waits on a developer.
