A Facebook ads agency plans and runs your social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram, which both work through Meta's ad system. That covers deciding who should see the ads, making the images, video and copy, setting the budget and tracking which ads bring in enquiries and sales. Everblue does this for businesses in Dublin and across Ireland, as well as in the UK and the US.
Facebook and Instagram ads are one part of our PPC management in Ireland, alongside Google Ads, LinkedIn and TikTok. They're a different job from social media management, where we post and reply on your pages for the people who already follow you. Paid campaigns put your business in front of people who haven't heard of you yet, and bring back those who visited your website without buying. Our team of designers, developers and marketers, led by James, makes the ads, sets up the tracking on your website and runs the campaigns.
Should you run Facebook ads or Google Ads first?
Start with Google Ads if people already search for what you sell, because your ads appear at the moment they're looking, and our Google Ads management covers that side. Start with Facebook and Instagram when people don't search for your product yet but would want it once they see it, as with a new snack brand, a local restaurant or an event.
Many businesses end up running both, with Facebook and Instagram making people aware of you and Google Ads there for the ones who then search for you. We've run both for Netcrisps and Savor by Suzie, and we'll tell you where we'd start for your business on your free audit call.
Who this is for, and when we'd suggest something else
A good fit if
- You sell something people want once they see it, such as food, gifts or an event, and want to put it in front of the right people before they think to search.
- You've boosted posts or run Facebook ads yourself, and can't tell which ones brought in enquiries or sales.
- Your website or online shop already turns visitors into customers, and you want more of the right people arriving at it.
When we'd point you elsewhere
- If people already search Google for what you sell and the budget only covers one platform, Google Ads will usually bring in customers sooner, and we'll tell you so.
- If the page your ads would send people to doesn't turn visitors into enquiries, more ad spend only makes each enquiry dearer. We'd fix the page first.
What our paid social media services include
Campaigns set up for sales or enquiries
Each campaign is set up for the result you want, whether that's online sales, enquiries or bookings, so Meta shows your ads to the people most likely to take that step. Enquiries can come through a form inside Facebook or Instagram or through a page on your website, and we'll build that page if your site doesn't have one.
Audiences worth reaching
We reach new people by location and interests, and people who resemble your existing customers, then bring back those who visited your website or engaged with your page. For Shauna Moran's coaching practice, we launched its first Meta campaigns in two layers, one introducing her to new audiences and one inviting leaders to take her leadership self-assessment.
Ads made for the feed, Stories and Reels
We write the copy and design the images and short videos, sized for each placement, so every ad looks at home wherever Facebook or Instagram shows it.
Testing which message works
We run several versions of each message side by side and let the results decide. For Foresight Global Recruitment, every CV from its adverts to tradespeople in Brazil was traced back to the version that produced it. In five days they brought in 138 CVs, and the versions offering to match people with the right employer brought in more than the ones that led on salary.
Pixel and conversion tracking
Before launch, we set up the Meta pixel and conversion tracking on your website, so each enquiry, booking or sale is traced back to the campaign and ad that produced it. That lets us judge your ads on the customers they bring in rather than on likes and clicks.
Budget that follows results
Budget moves towards the ads and audiences bringing in customers and away from those that aren't. Netcrisps' Meta ads kept a strong return as spend increased, and Savor by Suzie's Google and Facebook ads have kept a consistent return as its budget has grown.
What happens and when
- Before launch
- We set up the Meta pixel and conversion tracking, check that enquiries and sales are recorded against the right campaign, and make the first round of ads.
- At launch
- Campaigns go live with several ads and audiences running side by side, so the early results show which messages people respond to.
- Every week
- We check which ads people have stopped responding to, replace them with new versions and adjust budgets between campaigns.
- Every month
- You get a report on the enquiries and sales each campaign brought in, what they cost and the new ads we plan next.
Meta ad campaigns we've run for clients
Each case study starts where the business was when it came to us, then explains what we did and why.
Netcrisps
We built a Shopify store for more than 350 products and ran the SEO, paid ads and Klaviyo email around it. More than 45% of Netcrisps customers come back to buy again.

We built a Shopify store where customers build their own pretzel bundle and subscribe to regular deliveries, and we run the brand's Google and Facebook Ads.

We rebuilt the website, merged each location's social pages into one brand page and put review displays in every restaurant. Over our four years together the group grew from four locations to seven and collected around 4,000 reviews.

Every CV Foresight receives is now read and summarised before a consultant opens it, and candidates and employers can follow progress online. Five months after launch, the site was recording between 22 and 34 form submissions a day.
Read the case study“It's hard to put into words how glad and appreciative I am to have worked with Everblue Digital. Their professionalism is second to none, and the effort and attention to detail they put in is astounding. In a few days, they transformed my business to the point where I can gladly say that I’m now making lots of sales thanks to the work they did on my company's website and social media. To sum it up, all I can really say is that they are some of the soundest, most helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.”
Facebook and Instagram ads questions
If your question isn't answered here, email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.
What drives the cost of Facebook ads management?
There are two separate costs. Your ad spend goes directly to Meta from your own ad account, and our management is billed separately. The management side depends on how many campaigns and audiences we run, how much new creative the ads need and whether tracking has to be set up first. We'll quote once we've seen your account and your goals.
Do we own the ad account, and is there a minimum term?
Yes, your business owns it, and there's no minimum contract term for monthly work. Your Meta ad account, Business Manager and analytics belong to you, and we work in them with the access you give us. If you stop working with us, the account, its audiences and its campaign history stay with you.
Do you make the ads, or do we?
We do. We write the copy and design the images and short videos, and size each one for the feed, Stories and Reels. Photos and video from your business help, because real footage of your products, premises and team usually looks more like a post than an ad.
How quickly will we see enquiries or sales?
Ads start showing once Meta approves them. Knowing which ads and audiences bring in customers at a cost that works takes longer, because there need to be enough enquiries or sales to compare one version against another. We'll tell you what's realistic for your market and budget before you start.
Do we need Instagram ads as well as Facebook ads?
Usually both, because one Meta campaign can run on Facebook and Instagram at the same time and Meta shows each ad where it's getting results. We size the creative for each placement, and we can leave a platform out if your customers aren't there.
Do Facebook ads work for local businesses?
Yes, when the offer suits people nearby, because the ads can be shown only to people within a set distance of your restaurant, shop or service area. We ran Facebook ads for Spice India to build awareness and bookings across the group's restaurants. A small budget does more on one well-aimed campaign than spread across several, and we'll tell you what's realistic for yours.
