Web design and SEO for a New York commercial real estate broker, with listings the brokers update themselves
We rebuilt the website around a property listings system, and it has brought in more enquiries about commercial developments and leasing.
Where it started
When S.R.P. Brokers came to us, their website couldn't show property listings at all, which is the one thing a broker's site most needs to do. The platform made updates difficult, so the site had been left largely untouched and wasn't bringing in enquiries. Anyone browsing it had no way to see what was available. Search made it harder still, because digital marketing in New York is crowded, and established brokerages with large marketing budgets and years of backlinks fill the first page of results.
What we did and why
A listings system the brokers run themselves
The listings mattered most, so we built the site around them. Brokers add a commercial property with its details, images and contact information, then take it down when it's leased or sold, without needing any technical knowledge. Because updating is easy, the site stays current, which gives clients a reason to come back and the team a reason to keep it that way.
A straightforward build, with the budget spent where it counts
S.R.P. Brokers didn't need a flagship build, so we kept the rebuild straightforward and budget-conscious and put the effort into the parts their clients use. The clean, professional design reflects the calibre of the properties they handle, and we host and maintain the site so the team can concentrate on the listings.
Service pages for the searches clients make
Rather than chase the broad New York real estate searches, we aimed the SEO at more specific ones. We researched which keywords matter for commercial real estate in the parts of New York that S.R.P. Brokers cover, then built service pages for businesses looking for commercial space and for developers looking for a broker.
What changed
Since the rebuild, S.R.P. Brokers have had more enquiries about commercial developments and leasing, leads that weren't coming through when the old site sat untouched. The site also draws steady traffic from Google, which in New York commercial real estate is hard won.
What this means for your business
A modest rebuild can make a real difference when the old site was neglected and missing the one feature your customers need. If your team can update the site themselves, it stays current, and customers get a reason to come back. Not every business needs a flagship website, and putting the budget into the right features is often the better call.
